“And by the way, everything in life is writable about if you have the outgoing guts to do it, and the imagination to improvise. The worst enemy to creativity is self-doubt.”

– Sylvia Plath

Reflecting on Turchi

“The plan that guides our exploration may or may not be the structure-defining intention of the map, the document that leads the reader; experience reminds us that there is often a world of difference between what we hope to find, or think we might find, and what we discover[…] our vehicle for discovery is the work were trying to create” (Turchi 15).

Turchi shows his readers that exploration is the work that is made through the journey that is take. Our journey is based on experience that is taken. Our journey is based on experience that allows our minds to fluorish, and it does not have to be based off a map (strict way of guidance) that will limit our creativity. Maps should just be there to guide us and as arugued, maps are similar to writing because its originated from creativity, but that does not need to be our guide to achieve what we want. It can be thoughts from wherever your creativity lies.
